Shane Jones

Shane Jones began his formal martial arts training in his early twenties in RyuTe RenMei, an Okinawan style founded by Taika Oyata. After 18 months he stepped away from formal training to pursue his career. Knowing that he wanted to pursue martial arts training again, his sister-in-law Rebecca Ekstrand (currently an instructor) encouraged him to check out a dojo she had recently joined. So in early 2005 at the age of 26, Shane began training in Seigi Bushido Ryu under the instruction of Soke Kent Haralson.
